About us

Janice is the principal speech pathologist at Chatter. She has extensive experience working in the disability sector and specialises in early language development, primarily for children with Autism and developmental delays. Janice values making therapy fun, natural and meaningful to support the development of functional skills.

Janice uses play based learning to support children to learn new skills and is passionate about Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and its presence in supporting the development of communication.

Phoebe is a senior speech pathologist at Chatter and has worked across community health, school, and child-parent centre settings.

She specialises in the assessment and treatment of children with speech sound disorders, early language, developmental language delays/disorders, and paediatric stuttering. Phoebe values functional and neuro-affirming therapy and is passionate in empowering parents in supporting their child’s communication goals. Phoebe is trained in the Lidcombe Program and the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk Program

Candice is a dedicated Therapy Assistant with a background in psychology and a passion for supporting autistic children. With 7 years of experience in therapeutic settings, she brings a compassionate and understanding approach to each session, helping children navigate challenges and develop essential skills. 

Candice has collaborated closely with therapists to implement tailored interventions that promote development of language, social skills and emotional regulation. She is skilled in creating a nurturing environment that encourages children to express themselves and engage in meaningful activities. Candice believes in the importance of building trust and a relationship with each client.  She uses individualized strategies to foster each child’s unique strengths and potential.

In her spare time, Candice enjoys spending time with her daughter and pet rabbits.

At Chatter Therapy Services, we are proud to offer Speech Therapy services for children in the Southern Suburbs and Perth Metropolitan Area. We offer supports for children aged 0 – 12 years old as well as the people around the child. We can provide these supports at home, at school or in the community. Everyone’s needs are different and so therapy will look different for everyone too.
